Horses for Advanced Riders

Horses for Advanced Horseback Riders

An advanced level horse will require a competent, confident rider capable of riding a horse that has been trained to high levels and is used to being communicated with in a subtle and sophisticated way.

Horses for advance riders may also be young horses with a lot of energy and who have not had a lot of advanced training. In such cases the horse may not be advanced as the rider needs to be.

In buying an advanced level horse, or a horse for an advanced lever rider, you should be sure you have (or have the commitment to learn) the skills necessary so that the horse can perform at the level it is capable of.

Tips for Buying a Horse for Different Ability Levels

In the case of a horse that needs to be trained you must ask yourself the question: "Do I have the riding and teaching skills or the commitment to learn these skills to help my new horse reach its potential?"
